Tsayta is a long established British Columbia air carrier serving the tourism and resource sectors in northern British Columbia. Formed in 1983 at a base in Fort St. James, B.C., the company now operates six piston and turbine engine aircraft from operational bases at Fort St. James, Smithers, Dease Lake, and Telegraph Creek. We regularly operate aircraft as well from MacKenzie and Prince George airports.
We operate both wheel and float equipped aircraft during the summer, and wheel and ski equipped aircraft in the winter. Our principal lines of work include establishing and servicing remote resource development camps, providing transport to government staff and detecting of forest fires as well as transport of specialized fire crews and equipment. We are always available to those needing access to the great outdoors that cannot be achieved by road, and those wishing to simply go for an airplane ride and see the magnificent wilderness of northern BC.
